Inspired By Our Own Film
In April 2026, we released Watching Mr. Pearson, a warmly comedic drama feature film that tells the story of Robert Pearson, a once famous actor struggling with aging and memory loss, and the relationship he forms with his caregiver that helps him reconnect with the world.
We toured the film in select theaters across the United States and held private screenings at senior living communities. The high praise we received from audiences and how much they related to Robert’s story inspired us to go beyond narrative filmmaking.
A key theme in the film is legacy. How will we be remembered? What is our story that will be celebrated and told to future generations? What can we do to keep that legacy alive?
After sharing Robert’s story with the world, we want to do the same for real people. Those who want to preserve their life, legacy, and family for their loved ones in the form a well-crafted, professional documentary film.

Dillon Bentlage
Director | Producer
Dillon is a writer, director, and producer from Shelton, Connecticut. After earning a degree in Cinema and Literature from Boston University, Dillon moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands, where he worked at Storm Post Production as an assistant editor for films and television
Dillon co-founded KT Pictures with lifelong friend Brian Reilly. Since its inception, KT Pictures has worked on multiple short films, three feature films, and an international web series. His most recent work is the theatrically released Watching Mr. Pearson and Imposters which premiered at SXSW
Brian Reilly
Editor | Producer
Brian is a producer and editor from Shelton, Connecticut. He graduated from Bryant University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, which has provided him with vast experience in executing effective marketing strategies and brand management.
Brian co-founded KT Pictures with lifelong friend Dillon Bentlage. Since its inception, KT Pictures has worked on multiple short films, three feature films, and an international web series. Their notable works include: Imposters, Watching Mr. Pearson, Play It By Ear, and Play Me.
